“Golden Phoenix” Cake
The “Golden Phoenix” pastry is almost entirely made of gold and is served at the Dubai Mall cafe-boutique.
The dessert is made using elite strawberries, whipped cream, Italian cocoa, vanilla pods from Uganda, golden syrup, and flakes of edible gold foil.
The presentation is also exceptional – the $29,000 dessert is served in a basket with a spoon made of pure gold.
